I just got back from visiting relatives in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania. It's always so wonderful to reconnect with family and enjoy the gorgeous countryside this time of year. When visiting my nephews in Philadelphia, the energy of the city made me a bit nostalgic. However, when I arrived back at Southwest Florida International Airport in Ft Myers, it felt good to be home. Driving through Matlacha and on to Bokeelia, I realized how important our small, laid back community was to me. Plus, the palm trees and open water views at sunset are fantastic. Ahhh....Pine Island is a great place to call home!
