Food Drive Benefits Pine Island Food Pantry

Pine Islanders look out for one another, and this weekend is another indication of such support.  On Saturday, May 14th, the US Postal Service is having a food drive here in Lee County, Florida.  Residents are asked to place donations at their mailboxes which will be collected, sorted and distributed by local volunteers.

The really cool thing is that items collected on Pine Island will stay right here by going directly to our Pine Island Food Pantry.  This helps individuals and families in the Bokeelia, Pineland, Pine Island Center, St James City & Matlacha areas.

The Pine Island Food Pantry is just one of our many volunteer organizations of "islanders helping islanders" and making a positive difference in our community!  Check out PineIslandPam.com community information page for details about our local civic groups. (One attention getter is "The Matlacha Hookers" who have a lot of fun with their name!).

If you or someone you know is thinking about buying or selling real estate, give "Pine Island Pam" a call.  I'll be happy to help every step of the way through the real estate transaction.  Contact me at (239) 699-6567 or Pam@PineIslandPam.com.  Visit my website at PineIslandPam.com.
