Birding on Pine Island

"Egret with Plumage"

Birding on Pine Island is simply amazing. Land preserved by our local Calusa Land Trust offers favorite birding hot spots for locals and visitors. Of course we also bird watch by simply looking out our window or stepping out the door.  Don't forget that birding, boating & fishing can go hand in hand. When out in Pine Island Sound, Matlacha Pass or the Gulf of Mexico, be sure to look up and you'll most likely see an Osprey or Bald Eagle.

"Egret with Plumage" is painted by local artist Patty Sole.  Visit her website at PattySole.com to view other works.

Looking for a new home where you can bird watch? Now is the time to take advantage of historically low interest rates, affordable housing prices and good inventory choices.
